I remember having American lit. with Alan. Pig man mason was the teacher. Alan fell asleep as we all tended to do during his class. Being the pranksters we were, we forged a note asking him to come and see the teacher after class and stuck it under his head on his desk. Just as he was starting his conversation with mr mason we signaled him it was fake. He was so pissed he was stuck in an awkward conversation he had to make up on the spot about The book Exodus.

Alan was a fun guy to have been around. Our condolences go out to his family.

I remember attending a dance with Alan. I don't recall what dance it was, but I remember making plans to go together since we both weren't dating anyone at the time. We had a great time! I'm praying for his family and friends during this difficult time.

Alan was always a trusted friend to me in high school.  After H S we saw each other a few times at my parents church in Lincoln & had a some good conversations about life.  We shared a lot of memories from Northeast; football, swimming, going to parties & one that always connected Matt Svoboda, Alan & I.  Our Grand Mothers all passed away over a 13 day stretch in the fall of our junior year, so we leaned on each other for support during that time....I will never forget Alan & the great times we had together.  Rest in Peace Brother.

This saddens me that we've lost another classmate. I was just thinking of him not to long ago as I do  with some of the classmates.  Wondering how life has turned out for him.  What I remember of Alan was his smile and great personality.  My prayers and sympathy to all his friends and family.  May he RIP!

I met Alan just before we started our Sophomore year at Northeast and we developed a great friendship through high school.  I always enjoyed his enthusiasm.  He was a high energy guy and fun to be around. We had a lot of fun together during those years - Cruising around,  enjoying life, etc.

I was fortunate to reconnect with him occasionally over the past several years.  Thinking of him brings back good memories of those days in the 70's.  I will miss him.  He is has left us way too soon.  My thoughts are with his family.
