John left this reality to a different reality 16 Jan 2008. John died of complications - blood clots in his lungs - after a car accident. John is survived by a Son, Ian Walling; Three sisters, Donna Schneider - Fort Worth, Tx, Ellie Rowen - Lincoln, Ne and Lisa Rosoy, Omaha, Ne; and a brother Stephen Walling, Raymond, Ne.

John's sister Ellen described John as follows:

John didn't know a person that he wouldn't help. He did work on everyone's car that needed his help. He could plumb, paint, drywall and electrical. There wasn't much he couldn't do and if he didn't know how, he would get a book and find out how to do it. We miss our brother alot. His humor was contagious and he kept us all laughing.
