It has come to our attention Ray Krumme has passed away suddenly. We will provide me information when we obtain it. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family and loved ones of Ray Krumme.
We lost our good - no - our BEST friend Ray on July 30th to a sudden, and unexpected heart attack. All of the old gang: Jr. Erickson, Troy Berry, Tim Pierson and Randy Menck were gathered at Ray's side for one last time to ensure his journey to the next life was under full escort. Ray was buried with the cremains of his beloved wife, Connie Olson (1958 - 2001), so that they may be together for eternity, driving around in their lemon-yellow Triumph Spitfire. Although I feel like a piece of my soul has been torn out and thown to the wolves by Ray's loss, I'm also softly reminded by his Sister Kathy that not too far from the grave, Steve Wolvin ("Beef") and his brother Thomas also rest, so that "Somebody can help work on that damned Spitfire when it breaks down again." Rest in Peace Ray and Connie, you've both earned it.
Ray Krumme, 53, of Lincoln, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012. He was born on November 13, 1958 to Helen and Carl Krumme. He was a lifelong resident of Lincoln. He was united in marriage to Connie Olson on October 25, 1985. Ray worked for Ready Mixed Concrete for 34 years as a driver. Ray could fix anything and enjoyed working in his garage. He also enjoyed traveling to visit family.
Ray is survived by his daughter, Angie and husband Kyle Bensen of Port Washington, Wis.; sister, Kathy and husband, Bob Cummins of Lincoln; sister, Carla Green of Lincoln; brother in law, Mark Olson of Fremont; sister in law, Cindy Dormanen of Detroits Lakes, Minn.; sister in law, Cathy Hurley of Ada, Okla.; four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie Olson; mother and father, Helen and Carl Krumme; brother, Wayne Krumme; mother and father in law, Doreen and Milton Olson.
